Mobile app development with AI (React Native, iOS and Android)

I build iOS and Android apps with React Native and Expo, backed by Supabase or Firebase. I add AI where it replaces manual work: reading documents, an assistant that knows the user context, recommendations.

Who it is for

  • Founders who want to ship a first version and test it with real users.
  • Companies that need an app for customers or staff where AI does real work.
  • Teams with a web product that need a mobile version.

What I can do

  • Flows and screens designed together with the code, no separate design-only phase.
  • One React Native / Expo codebase for iOS and Android.
  • Backend, auth, database, and push notifications (Supabase or Firebase).
  • AI features: document OCR, in-app assistant, personalization, recommendations.
  • Preparing the release for the App Store and Google Play.
  • Native extensions when needed, for example an Apple Watch app in SwiftUI.

How I work

  1. 01

    Workshop

We define who uses the app, what problem it solves, and how we will know it works.

  2. 02

    First-version scope

A list of screens and features needed at launch, and a list of what we deliberately postpone.

  3. 03

    Two-week sprints

I design the screens and write the code in two-week sprints. After each one you get a working build on your phone, not a progress report.

  4. 04

    Clickable version

As early as possible you get an app you can click through on your phone and show to your first users.

  5. 05

    Iterations and release

Fixes after the first users, the App Store and Google Play release, and a plan for the next version.

  • I do not give fixed timelines, because they depend on the size of the app. After every sprint you see what is done and what is left.
  • I bill hourly and invoice as a B2B contractor.
  • I design the UX and UI myself, alongside the code.
  • I reply to messages within 24 hours.

FAQ

Why React Native instead of two native apps?

One codebase for iOS and Android means less work on every change, which matters most early on. When a product needs something native, like the Apple Watch app in O! Dzik!, I write that part in Swift.

How much does a mobile app cost?

I bill hourly and invoice as a B2B contractor. The number of hours depends on the screens, integrations, and whether there is AI inside. We start with a workshop and a first-version scope, then I work in two-week sprints, so after each one you see what was built. I usually suggest a smaller start you can show users quickly.

How long does it take to build a mobile app?

I do not give fixed timelines, because they depend on the size of the app. I work in two-week sprints and aim to get you a version you can click through on your phone as early as possible. I built the first CarSense MVP in 25 hours.

Who designs the app?

I do. I design the UX and UI myself, alongside the code. I want the app to work well, look good, and be friendly to use.

Will you help publish the app on the App Store and Google Play?

Yes. I prepare the builds, configuration, and assets needed for review. O! Dzik! went through this and is live on the App Store.

Can I get the code without ongoing work?

Yes. The repository is yours, and I structure it so another team can take it over.
